Kelly came to the White Room in July 2013 for a week’s work experience to gain knowledge into the working world organised through her school, not long after we offered her a “Sunday girl” job, to work every Sunday and help in the running of the salon and to do various jobs. Since then, she started West Notts College in September 2014 to do beauty therapy at level 2 and she now has an apprenticeship with us.
She has come on a long way from when she first started, being quiet and shy, to now being a lot more confident and always eager to learn and develop herself further. She completes all treatments to the best of her ability and is Dermaligica certified.
Lauren has family members who are loyal clients to the White Room, so from a young age Lauren would come along with them and see the treatments being done, and would think “I want to do this when I grow up!” so she did!
We asked Lauren if she wanted to be a Saturday girl in 2013, to keep the salon clean and to do reception duties. And when she left school in 2014, her and Kelly both applied at West Notts College to begin their training together. Kathrine offered Lauren an apprenticeship and she has excelled ever since.
Lauren is a very careful and kind therapist, very sociable and mature for her age. She is Dermalogica certified and completes each treatment to the best standard.
